Poor installation Case Study

Please note from these images taken from a local Northumbrian man’s home our company would like to point out the signs of a poor installation and make you as a customer aware of the poor signs to look
out for when having a Solar PV system fitted to your property:

As you can see from the images shown on this site tiles have become loose and tiles are seen to be
damaged, Also the system modules are too close to the guttering which means the water is running
straight off the modules and missing the gutter which could lead to future problems with the home,
Modules should be fitted to a distance where the water can run from the modules to the guttering
system. Wires from the electrical circuit in this photograph are hanging loose under the system
where as they should be tie wrapped and securely fitted in place.

We advise after seeing such a poor installation that any able-bodied person’s to look out for such
error’s if they can, if not willing or able- bodied to go as high as the installation to look at the system
then please use binoculars or ask the company doing your installation to take photos of their work so
you can see the finer detail of the installation and be rest assured that you will have  full confidence
that your system will last you your 25 years.
